HORIZONS II is truly a versatile vessel with high speed planning. She combines both the stability and volume of a displacement vessel. This spacious yacht can accommodate up to eight guests in four staterooms plus a convertible gymnasium. Her beautiful interior which, when combined with her speed, volume and stability, offers many factors not offered on vessels of similar size.
Upon stepping inside the vessel into the welcoming main deck foyer, one finds beautiful marble floors beneath their feet. Walking aft from the foyer is guest access to the Dining Room and Main Salon. Walking forward from the foyer is access to a staircase that leads to the upper bridge deck, as well as a dayhead, ventilated A/V closet, and the Master Stateroom.
The full beam, very spacious and inviting Master Stateroom, is located forward on the main deck and features a large owner's lounge with comfortable furniture and an office with a Plasma TV. The bedroom features a King size bed with Plasma TV, entertainment center, his and hers marble bathrooms, a large Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. There are also very grand windows and ample storage space in discrete closets.
Three beautifully decorated, large guest staterooms are located on the lower deck. The huge VIP stateroom has an entertainment center, an oversized bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower. The two king staterooms have en-suite marble bathrooms and entertainment centers. Another stateroom, which is currently used as a gym, can be converted into a twin stateroom. Just outside the guest staterooms is a vestibule with a small guest refrigerator.
Aft from the Main Deck foyer is the Dining Room which features a large, intimate, circular dining table that seats eight guests. This area features huge windows, excellent storage, as well as double doors that lead to a butler’s pantry which minimizes noise and light intrusion during meal service.
Continuing aft of the Dining Room, the Main Salon is very elegantly designed with beautiful woods and top of the line entertainment equipment. There are two large comfortable sofas, two chairs, and two ottomans. The area is very well lit with huge windows and walk around decks on both port and starboard sides.
The Main Salon opens to a comfortable aft deck with a built-in settee and dining table for eight guests. There is also access to the upper deck.
Forward of the Dining Room is the very well-laid out, spacious Galley. There is a service area, prep areas, and separate cooking areas. The galley features excellent access for both guests and crew alike. The main passageway allows guests to easily grab a cookie (provided the door is open!), and an outside door allows for crew to easily load supplies. Additionally, one can travel aft through the butler’s pantry to the Dining Room; or forward, to the crews quarters and stairs to the wheelhouse. The galley has been very well thought out and executed.
The Sky Lounge is spacious, light and airy, and features a large 52’ TV, as well as surround sound, which gives the impression of being in a movie theater. A comfortable and inviting sofa provides for plenty of seating. Large, oversized windows provide a great view regardless of seating arrangement. Combined with the bar, the sky lounge is a fun, fresh and fantastic entertainment area. For convenience, there is also a dayhead on this deck.
The bridge aft deck has both built in and moveable seating, walk around decks, and is partially covered, allowing for either sun tanning or reading a book in the shade.
The Wheel House is very large, with the volume of a 55 meter vessel, incorporating a large chart and navigation station behind the helm, which also serves as the Captain's work area. This beautifully laid out space is wonderful for both guests and crew alike, with an elevated settee that allows for excellent visibility. The state of the art Wheelhouse features integrated electronics, which allows for easy visibility and access. Just forward and outside the Wheel House is the lovely Portuguese Bridge with guest seating.
Continuing forward of the Portuguese Bridge is the anchor well, which houses two Muir anchors. This forward deck space is an excellent work and storage space. There are twin lazarettes as well as a crew escape hatch.
Just aft of the Wheel House is the spacious Captain's Cabin, which boasts a queen-size bed that can be accessed from all sides as well as a private bathroom and closet. Any captain would be delighted to occupy this space.
The large Sun Deck features an oversized Jacuzzi with a bar, ample seating and sunbathing areas.
